Evan & Ashley tied the knot at the gorgeous River Winds Farm & Estate in Saco, Maine—a venue that blends rustic charm with expansive views of 160 acres of farmland. The property’s quaint farmhouse, modern barn, and newly built outdoor deck and patio created the perfect backdrop for their celebration, even with a little curveball from Mother Nature.

The day began with a vibrant pop of color—Ashley’s bridesmaids wore bright, mismatched dresses in playful prints that reflected the energy of the day. Their wildflower-inspired bouquets brought even more whimsy and charm, bursting with texture and color. Ashley looked absolutely stunning in a romantic gown with a deep neckline and open back, delicately detailed with lace. Evan and his groomsmen coordinated with deep green ties, while Evan added a bit of personality with a floral tie and matching socks—a fun, stylish touch.

While this marked the 12th rainy Saturday in a row (seriously!), spirits stayed high. The outdoor ceremony had to be moved, but a small covered nook offered a perfect spot for Evan & Ashley’s intimate first look. We ventured outside despite the drizzle for some playful group shots with their crew—umbrellas in hand and lots of laughter.

Their ceremony was moved indoors to the barn, which glowed with warmth and love as they exchanged vows. From there, guests enjoyed cocktails, heartfelt speeches, and lively dances. Just as the final toast wrapped up, the clouds parted and the sun finally broke through. It was perfect timing.

Everyone spilled out onto the gorgeous patio, soaking in the golden light. We whisked Evan & Ashley out to the open fields for their couple’s portraits, with lush green grass beneath their feet and cows grazing in the distance. We even pulled out our drone for some dreamy aerial shots that captured the full beauty of the farm and the newlywed joy radiating from these two.

One of our favorite moments? Gathering all of their guests for a massive group photo—Evan & Ashley right in the center, surrounded by the love and support of everyone who came to celebrate with them. It was such a powerful snapshot of the community they’ve built together.

Ashley wowed everyone with a surprise outfit change for the reception—something fun and more relaxed to dance the night away in. And that’s exactly what they did. The barn lit up with music, colorful lights, and glow sticks waving through the air as friends and family packed the dance floor. The night wrapped up in the best way possible: with slices of late-night pizza in hand, laughter echoing through the barn, and memories made to last a lifetime.

Rain or shine, Evan & Ashley’s wedding was a celebration bursting with color, heart, and joy—and we couldn’t be more honored to have been a part of it. This day couldn’t have been possible without all of the amazing vendors below!
