Sabrina & Dylan’s Elegant Spring Wedding at Pembroke Pines Country Club

Some wedding days just feel extra special from the moment they begin—and Sabrina and Dylan’s wedding at Pembroke Pines Country Club was exactly that.

They truly could not have asked for a more perfect day. After an early New England heat wave earlier in the week and a rainy Memorial Day weekend looming ahead, they were gifted the most beautiful May weather—sunshine, warm spring air, and just enough hazy cloud cover to make every photo absolutely glow. It was one of those days where everything simply fell into place.

But beyond the weather, what made this day unforgettable was the love. Sabrina and Dylan were surrounded by more than 200 of their closest family and friends, and every part of the day reflected just how deeply loved they are—and how deeply they love each other.

Getting Ready at Pembroke Pines Country Club

The day began with both sides getting ready onsite at Pembroke Pines, which makes the entire wedding day flow so seamlessly.

The guys spent the morning downstairs in the groom’s suite—relaxed, staying cool in the AC, and getting ready for the celebration ahead.

Upstairs, the bridal suite was full of energy. Sabrina and her bridesmaids wore matching blush-blue pajamas—a sweet nod to the shades of blue they’d later wear down the aisle. The girls popped champagne out on the balcony, soaking in the perfect weather before the final touches began.

Then came one of my favorite moments of the morning—Sabrina’s reveal to her bridesmaids. Once she stepped into her gown, she surprised all of her girls at once, and their reactions were priceless. Her dress was absolutely stunning: a modern two-piece gown with a detachable train and a long veil that made every movement feel even more dramatic.

First Looks Full of Emotion

Before the ceremony, Sabrina shared a first look with her dad—and it was one of those quietly emotional moments that reminds me why I love this job so much.

Right after that came Sabrina and Dylan’s first look, tucked just behind the arbor where they’d later exchange vows.

Sabrina tapped Dylan on the shoulder. He turned around and immediately said, “Holy sht!”* Everyone burst out laughing, and it instantly broke any nerves. It was genuine, funny, and perfectly them.

After their first look, we moved into portraits—couples photos, wedding party photos, and family formals while everyone was still fresh.

And can we talk about the style for a second? The groomsmen looked classic and sharp in navy suits, while the bridesmaids wore a beautiful collection of soft blue tones that felt so perfect for spring. Their bouquets brought everything together with soft blush pink florals, adding just enough warmth and romance to the palette.

A Ceremony I’ll Never Forget

Their ceremony was officiated by the bride’s cousin, which made it feel even more personal. Her words were emotional—but it was Sabrina and Dylan’s vows that truly got me.

At one point, Dylan talked about their future together and the family they hope to build one day. He mentioned “dancing in the kitchen.” Earlier that same day, I had received a gallery from my own family photo session—taken by a dear friend—of my family literally dancing in our kitchen together. I completely lost it.

Sometimes little moments hit you unexpectedly, and that one did. It was such a beautiful reminder of what marriage is really about: the quiet, ordinary moments that become your whole life.

The love between these two was undeniable.

After their first kiss, guests tossed flower petals into the air as they walked back down the aisle, stopping halfway for another dip kiss before officially making their exit as Mr. and Mrs.

Spring Cocktail Hour at Pembroke Pines Country Club

Cocktail hour felt like the perfect celebration of spring.

The warm air, specialty drinks, colorful outfits, and blooming landscape made everything feel vibrant and alive.

Before joining their guests, Sabrina and Dylan took a few quiet moments alone together—which I always encourage. Wedding days move fast, and having even five minutes to pause and soak it all in is so important.

Then we wrapped up a few extended family portraits before they headed off to enjoy cocktail hour—and the fashion did not disappoint. Bright colors, playful patterns, and spring energy everywhere you looked.

A Reception Full of Meaning—and One Very Memorable Dress Moment

Inside the reception, the couple went straight from introductions into their first dance…. and remember that detachable train I mentioned? Well, Sabrina was so excited running onto the dance floor that she literally bounced it right off. It honestly looked intentional—and it made everyone laugh. Such a fun, spontaneous moment.

They followed with parent dances and a series of incredibly heartfelt speeches.

One of the most memorable came from Sabrina’s father, who spoke about generations of love and marriage within their families—and how all of that history had led to this exact moment: Sabrina and Dylan beginning their own story.

It was beautiful.

Golden Hour on the Green

After dinner, we snuck away for sunset portraits out on the golf course—and wow, was it worth it.

The golden light absolutely showed off for us.

We played with Sabrina’s veil, wandered across the green, and captured some of my favorite portraits of the day.

Our final image before heading back inside featured a gifted pendant flag—a perfect personal touch for this golf-loving couple and such a fitting end to their portrait time.

A Surprise Mother-Daughter Dance

Back inside, Sabrina and Dylan cut their cake before Sabrina surprised everyone—especially her mom—with a special dance.

They danced to Slipping Through My Fingers by ABBA, and before long the entire room was singing along.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room—including mine.

It was such a beautiful way to honor her mom, bring everyone together, and officially open the dance floor.

The Party

And what. a. party.

This may have been the most packed dance floor I’ve ever photographed. No exaggeration—almost nobody was sitting down.

DJ Mike Benoit absolutely crushed it. His transitions were seamless, the energy never dropped, and every single song somehow hit at exactly the right moment.

The heels came off. The flip-flops came on. Foam flashing light sticks waved through the air.

At one point, a guest removed his belt and started an impromptu limbo contest in the middle of the dance floor.

That pretty much tells you everything you need to know.

So Much Gratitude

Sabrina and Dylan—thank you for trusting me to document such an incredible day.

It was an honor to witness not only your love, but the love your families and friends so clearly have for you both.

Days like this remind me why I love what I do—not just the beautiful details or the perfect weather, but the people, the emotion, and the stories that unfold.

It takes an incredible team to make a wedding day feel effortless, and this one was made possible by an amazing group of vendors working behind the scenes.

I’m so grateful to have been a small part of it.

Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs.—your day was unforgettable.
